The Ordering Process
Please make sure to choose the correct system and system status when placing your order. Choose your shipping options, and any other options you desire. Your serial number is required. This can be found on the bottom of the system, or via the System Profiler (in Applications/Utilities).

• All shipping costs are configured on this page. No additional charges are added during checkout.
• Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email.
• Depending on your choices, you will receive either a pre-shipment box in a couple of days, or instructions via email within a short time.
• You can login to the site anytime to check your status. The login is your email address.
• International customer should contact Daystar direct via email at sales@daystartechnology.com.
• For WEEKENDER service (in on Friday, back on Monday) just choose the 1-day service and the 1-day WEEKENDER return. Your upgrade will be performed Friday night and shipped after testing on Saturday.
  
  

Shipping Process
Daystar offers 3-way shipping options. Basically, we ship a box to you, ship your unit back. Then once completed, we ship it back as follows:

1. A custom Pre-shipment Container is sent to you via Daystar. We include instructions, information and an EZ return label. You can also choose to ship in your original Apple box, or via your own packing. Note that the Apple box is large and more expensive for us to ship, hence the additional charge.
2. You will ship your system to us. You can choose to ship on our account with the EZ return shipping label, which is either sent in the pre-shipment box or via email (if you didn't choose a pre-shipment box). You can also choose to ship on your own account.
3. We will ship the system back to you upgraded and working well. Again, you can choose to prepay the shipping with us, or supply your own FedEx/DHL account number.

Upgrade Process
This upgrade is a 24-hour factory installed system upgrade. The complete process is handled by Daystar's Apple Certified Technicians.

• As soon as it hits the dock, your system is booted and compared to your checklist.
• The system is moved to a secure environment and tested completely.
• We test your system following our 21 point 'head to toe' procedure. If we see anything that concerns us, we will give you a call.
• Any service work is performed to your specifications, the system is again tested, then the upgrade is installed and completed.
• The system is again tested from 'head to toe' and performs an overnight automated battery of tests.
• It then ships back to you, the next day.
